Who can attend the different youth clubs and activities offered by The Shed Project?At The Shed Project, we are thrilled to welcome students from various age groups to our engaging youth clubs and activities! Any S1-S6 pupils are invited to join our Youth clubs and take part in Nicolson School's work, providing them with a fantastic opportunity to develop skills and build friendships. Additionally, our Saturday club and Primary schools work are specially designed for P7 students, ensuring they have a fun and supportive environment to thrive in before transitioning to secondary school. What is the process for submitting a consent form for my child to attend The Shed Project's clubs?Every young person who attends our clubs must have a completed consent form filled out by their parents. To make this process as convenient as possible, we provide a digital copy of our consent form online. You can download and print the form from the Youth Nights and Drop-ins Page on our website. Once filled out, your child can bring the form with them to the club. If you prefer, we also have paper consent forms available at The Shed Project facility. This ensures that every young person can participate in our activities safely and with proper parental consent.

Are there any costs associated with participating in the youth clubs and drop-ins?Hey there! At The Shed Project, we’re all about keeping things free and fun for the Stornoway community. You can drop by for free on Thursday nights, Fridays, and for the P7 Saturday Club. The only thing you might spend a little on is our Tuck shop snacks and drinks. Come hang out with us, no fees needed!

The best part? There's no need for pre-registration, making it super convenient for spontaneous visits. Once you arrive with your child(ren), simply connect with one of our friendly and enthusiastic volunteers. They will warmly welcome you, sign you in, and provide you with a registration form to ensure we have all the necessary details to support your child's experience. Can I bring my own snacks and drinks?Absolutely! You are more than welcome to bring your own beverage or snacks when attending. However, we'd love to provide you with complimentary tea, coffee, and water that we have available. For the little ones, we also offer toast and fruit to ensure they're well-fed and happy. Come along, and enjoy the facilities knowing we’ve got some refreshments covered!
